Criteria for Community Minister Participation:
As stated in the Retirement Plan Document (linked below), UU ordained or UUA fellowshipped community ministers, as defined in the Plan, are able to participate in the UU Org Retirement Plan if they meet specific criteria for community ministers.
- Must be a U.S. Resident
- Must have reached at least preliminary UU ministerial fellowship status or have been ordained as a UU minister.
- Cannot be receiving employer contributions under another denominational retirement plan
- Must be self-employed as a community minister, OR if employed, your employer is not affiliated with the UUA and does not offer a retirement plan, or you do not qualify to participate in their retirement plan
