What data transferred from TIAA to Empower for our location?

TIAA will send Empower participant information and balance history (see transition guide), as well as beneficiaries, installment arrangements, and loan repayment information. Empower will not receive any deferral (participant elected contribution rate) data from TIAA. Your employees may choose to enter their deferral amount online via their personal account login at uuaempower.com and to utilize many of the financial wellness tools that Empower offers. This deferral rate will report back to you as a change, although it may align with what was currently on file at your location. Please check your payroll setup to make sure that you have each employee's salary deferrals setup correctly. Future reports, however, will reflect changes.
