How do I add a bank account to my Empower account and switch from check payments to direct deposit?

    To add a bank account to your Empower account:
    Log in to your account at uuaempower.com
    Click on Account on the top menu
    Go to UU Organizations Retirement Plan
    Click on Overview
    On the left menu, click on Add bank account
    Enter your account information.

    After you have entered your account information, it can take up to 15 days for Empower to be able to use your account.

    If you have payments scheduled and want to switch payment from check to direct deposit after you have entered your bank account:
    On the top menu, click on Account
    Go to UU Organizations Retirement Plan
    Click on Withdrawals
    Scroll down to the section called Active Periodic Installment Payments
    Under Delivery, click on Mail
    A box will open that says Change delivery method
    Click on the circle for direct deposit
    Scroll down if needed and click Save.
