Dependent Premium Calculation: Many congregations choose to contribute separate percentages for employee and dependent premiums. To determine dependent premium:
- Calculate total monthly premium for coverage level (family, employee plus spouse or partner, employee plus children) using the Rate Calculator
- Calculate total monthly premium at the individual coverage level for employee
- Total Premium—Individual Premium = Dependent Premium
