When did the Plan change to allow for ALL W2 employees to participate in the UU Retirement Plan?

The UU Organizations Retirement Plan was restated on January 1, 2014. During that Plan restatement, participant eligibility was updated to include ALL W2 employees, 18 years and older, of participating employers. Any current W2 employee, 18 years and older, regardless of the number of hours worked, become Participants in the Plan and must be enrolled and invited to make pretax employee elective contributions (salary deferrals). In addition, employees can choose to start, stop, or change salary deferrals at anytime. There is no deadline in which to start salary deferrals and no open enrollment restrictions.

You may review the Background and Summary of Changes for the 2014 restatement on the attached document.
